Ensure Your Injections Are Performed At a Licensed Clinic
There are three main wrinkle relaxers approved for use in Australia. Units are calculated differently across all products, leading to some deals looking cheaper, but you’re getting no discount. Some clinics also use products that have been watered down.
Always ensure your procedure is performed at a licensed clinic with experienced injectors using full-strength approved products.
A doctor must see all patients before their wrinkle treatment. This is a legal requirement. If you have received treatment without seeing a doctor at another centre, please report this to the regulatory body by calling 1800020653 or visiting the AHPRA website.
It is also illegal to import wrinkle relaxers or dermal fillers into Australia. Wrinkle relaxer products are prescription-only medications and should not be treated as beauty products.
