Wrinkle Treatments: Be Warned
There are 3 main Wrinkle Relaxers approved for use in Australia. Units are calculated differently across all products, this leads to some deals looking cheaper, but you’re getting no discount at all. Some clinics also use products that have been watered down.
Always ensure to have your procedure performed at a licensed clinic, with experienced injectors using full- strength approved products.
All patients must be seen by a doctor before their wrinkle treatment. This is a legal requirement. If you have received treatment without seeing a doctor at another centre, please report this to the regulatory body by calling 1800 020 653, or visit https://www.ahpra.gov.au/.
It is also illegal to import Wrinkle Relaxer and Dermal Filler into Australia. These products are prescription only medication and should not be treated as beauty products.
