What are crows feet?

Crows feet are skin wrinkles that begin to form outside the corners of your eyes.

They’re also known as ‘laugh lines’ or ‘character lines’; they’re inevitable signs of ageing that first show up in the finer, more wrinkle-prone areas of your skin.

Crows feet lines may form subtly over time, but become more visible when you express emotions such as laughing, frowning or grimacing.

The main reason why crow’s feet are more noticeable than other facial wrinkles is that the skin around your eyes is much thinner.

Unlike most other areas of the face or body, the skin that surrounds your eyes isn’t bolstered by thick, fatty tissue underneath; so when your skin ages, it’s often the first to show the signs of passing time.

We have a range of surgical and non-surgical procedures that may reduce crow’s feet. If you are interested in treatment options, we recommend that you book a complimentary consultation which allows us to assess your concern and recommend the best treatment options for you.
