What are dark eye circles?

Dark circles (or ‘bags’) under the eyes are common to both men and women, although they can occasionally be seen in children. As people age, the skin becomes thinner and collagen is lost, sometimes enhancing the appearance of blood vessels beneath the eyes and making the area appear darker.

Dark eye circles are often seen as being due to a lack of sleep however, they could be due to a high salt diet or even genetics.

We have a range of surgical and non-surgical procedures that can reduce dark eye circles. If you are interested in treatment options, we recommend that you book a complimentary consultation which allows us to assess your concern and recommend the best treatment options for you.
