What are sun spots?
Sun spots are a common skin problem, developing on the skin after prolonged periods of sun exposure. You can get sun spots at any age, although those with a lighter skin complexion are more susceptible, and many complain of them when noticing signs of ageing.
Sun spots are also known as solar lentigines. They can vary in colour, shape and size, and show up most commonly on the hands and face, or other areas where there has been the most sun exposure. It usually takes years or even decades for sun spots to be formed on the skin.
