Some results can be seen once the threads have been inserted, however, the results will improve over the next 3-6 months. They are expected to last 12-24 months.

Face and Neck
The procedure is performed as an outpatient treatment as no incisions are needed. The threads are placed under the skin via needles. A local anesthetic or numbing cream can be applied prior to this. The procedure takes around 30-minutes, depending on the number of threads required. Usually, recovery time is minimal. You may notice some swelling and some bruising to the treated areas.
The silhouette soft thread is made of a non-allergenic compound. On each suture, there are 2 series of cones. These cones face in the opposite direction and are called Bidirectional. This gives better hold and tension when holding the skin on the face. The cones made of a lactide-glycolic mix.
These products are completely compatible with the human body.
This treatment is suitable for anyone who has started to notice the signs of ageing. It is particularly popular with patients in their 30s and 40s who either do not want to undergo a surgical thread lift or who are looking for a more subtle result.
You’ll need to ice the area, but make sure the cold packs are not placed directly on the skin. Take Panadol 2-4 hourly for the next 2-hours. Don’t apply makeup for 24-hours.
Ensure you sleep with an extra pillow on at least a 30-degree angle for 3-5 nights. Be very gentle in washing and shaving your face.
For the first 2-weeks, avoid sun exposure and tanning beds, contact sports, dentists, saunas and over-expression.
Avoid significant massaging of your face for 4-weeks.

Immediately after the lifting and placements, there will be a series of needle marks on each side of the face. These will remain visible for the rest of the day, although most people are able to cover them up the next day with make-up. Excess pulling will also be noted.
You may experience some bruising and swelling around the sutures, although this tends to be minor and short-lived. For up to a week after the procedure, it may feel tender around the sutures.
Results from this procedure can be enhanced by pairing the treatment with Skin Tightening such as HIFU or Radio Frequency Skin Tightening, Wrinkle Relaxers, Dermal FIllers and Laser Skin Rejuvenation.
