There are three coloured light options available, offering different wavelengths of light to treat different areas of concern. About Healite II LED

A non-invasive light treatment that delivers concentrated energy deep into your tissue affecting your body at a cellular level. Healite II LED can be used as a standalone therapy or as an adjunctive enhancement of recovery with nearly any procedure. The Healite II LED has demonstrated the healing of wounds caused by laser treatments, injectables, or surgery and can help reduce any associated pain, bruising and swelling experienced post-procedure.

As a stand-alone treatment is recommended twice a week for 4 weeks, then weekly or as needed. However, this treatment plan will vary depending on your concern.

Healite II LED Results

The number of treatments needed with the Healite II LED will depend on the skin condition being treated. In the case of skin recovery (eg scarring, bruising) after other cosmetic procedures we recommend 2 treatments per week during the recovery period.

For skin rejuvenation and acne treatment, we recommend from one to two sessions per week for a four to six-week period, followed by monthly maintenance.

Healite II LED Treatment Process

The Treatment

Each Healite II LED session takes approximately 10 to 20 minutes to complete. It is a low-level light therapy that is comfortable and non-invasive, with no downtime – some patients find it quite relaxing.

The Healite II LED device has a large, adjustable head that can deliver the treatment in a variety of positions to allow for patient comfort and to treat multiple areas of the body if required.

Prior to the treatment your skin will be cleansed. Many find the procedure comfortable and relaxing, and you will feel a warm bright light during the treatment.

Post Treatment

The Healite II LED does not result in any patient downtime. Patients can expect to feel relaxed and comfortable during their treatment, with the skin feeling benefits after the first appointment.

Assisting with Healing Post-Surgical and Non-Surgical Procedures

The Healite utilises LED (light-emitting diode) technology to promote tissue healing and reduce inflammation. It can speed up recovery and reduce possible pain, bruising, and swelling that may be experienced after surgical treatments such as liposuction and breast augmentations and injectable treatments such as dermal fillers, thread lifts, bio-remodelling, as well as laser treatments such as Clear and Brilliant, PicoWay, DOT Co2, or PIXEL resurfacing.

This accelerated recovery is a result of the stimulation of the body’s natural healing processes and helping to reduce postoperative pain and swelling.

The Healite II emits low-level light energy that penetrates the skin and stimulates cellular activity. This energy is absorbed by the mitochondria in the cells, which are responsible for producing energy for cellular processes. The light energy helps to activate these mitochondria, which in turn increases the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the energy currency of the cell.

Increased ATP production is responsible for improving cellular function, promoting tissue repair, and reducing inflammation. The light energy also stimulates the production of collagen, which is important for wound healing and tissue regeneration
